Saudi oil-soaked newspaper, Al-Hayat mocked the demonstration by the Lebanese Communist Party in Beirut the other day. The newspaper, which has a long record of submission to House of Saud and of fabrications, lied, and it knew that it lied. The Lebanese Communist Party, unlike what Al-Hayat claimed, did not object to dialogue in Lebanon, but to the sectarian formula of dialogue taking place, and to the sectarian tags of the guests. Nabih Brirri adhered to sectarian standards in inviting the participants. Not a single secular force or leader was invited, as Khalid Saghiyyah pointed out in As-Safir the other day. That should be pointed out. I for one am not for dialogue--not with those sectarian warlords. I for one am not for reconciliation--not with those war criminals. I for one am not for amity--not with those crooks who embezzled the Lebanese treasury under the auspices of Hariri Inc. I would not engage in dialogue if, among other things, it entailed shaking hands with the likes of Ja`ja`, among other war criminals.
