Fake Lebanonese "Glory" on LBC-TV: when will they stop. By the foolish standards of An-Nahar and LBC-TV, every famous Arab or Lebanese has to be Lebanese, or has to be made Lebanese, against his or her will. I am talking, yet again, about the silly segment, From Lebanon, which precedes the daily evening news cast on LBC-TV. The other day, it featured Yasmine Bleeth. She, of course, is not Lebanese, although she has an Arabic name. Now, I know how LBC-TV puts those non-Lebanese on as Lebanese. They simply run names of rich and famous people and assumes that anybody who has an Arabic name or a non-Arabic name in many cases (Kazan, Zappa, Hanna among others) must be made Lebanese, whether she/he likes it or not. One source says this about Bleeth's parents: "Her American father, Philip Bleeth, is Jewish, while her Algerian-born mother, Carina Bleeth." Do you know that `Azzuz (King Fahd's son, `Abdul-`Aziz once paid Yasmine 2$million to attend a party of his in LA--I don't know whether `Azzuz's "entertainer", mini-Hariri was there. Would somebody just tell them that they (LBC-TV that is) are making fools of themselves. But then again, let them. Why would I care about such right-wing sectarian station owned by war criminal, Samir Ja`ja`, the friend of the "Democratic Left Movement" in Lebanon--also known as Hariri's most reliable tool. But then again, Hizbullah helped Lebanese Forces achieve representation in parliament by their alliance with LF, Jumblat, and Hariri Inc. Hizbullah is responsible for the size of Jumblat's parliamentary bloc.
