An-Nahar's opinion surveys are the most biased (and sectarian) of all polls, and they are conducted by the worst polling firm in Lebanon (Statistics Lebanon Ltd). . I am told it is part of the media empire of the famous Lebanese crook, Antoine Shuwayri, who was going to be jailed in Dubai, I heard. In the new one, the survey tried in every possible way, in the most weird phrasing of questions that I have ever seen, to get less negative responses to questions about US role in Lebanon. When I was growing up, An-Nahar had a semblance of a "liberal-conservative" and slightly professional air. Now, it is far more vulgar and crude in its propaganda than Fox News.
