"A two-year-old Arab infant en route to a Jerusalem hospital for medical treatment suffered light injuries Thursday when vandals stoned the vehicle carrying the infant's family. The infant's wounds were caused by shards of glass which was shattered by the stones. In Jerusalem's Armon Hanatziv neighborhood on Wednesday, Jews hurled stones at a car carrying nurses on their way to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, causing damage to the vehicle. No injuries, however, were reported. Police on Wednesday detained six Jewish residents of the Galilee town of Ma'alot for allegedly stoning motorists who drove on roads during the Yom Kippur holiday. The six were subsequently released after questioning."
