Now he is speaking. A former member of the Iraqi puppet government (Duhan al-Hasan) of the chief puppet Iyad `Allawi gave an interview to Al-Hayat the other day. He said that the puppet government could not make any decision (in security and defense realms), and that the US government made the decisions. He said: "they alone had the powers to select and appoint the officers of the ministries of defense and interior, from the rank of colonel upwards," and added that "the leaders that they select operate directly according to their instructions and whoever deviates from the charted course is ousted." This is the "sovereign" Iraq under occupation. As if we did not know; only the US public still does not know.
