Unpopular Arab Demonstrations: that should be a regular feature. You cannot rely on the New York Times or Hassan Fattah to cover them, of course. Only when demonstrations may be falsely used to validate the Bush's doctrine will demonstrations be covered in US media. This is the 9th consecutive Lebanese student demonstration in front of the US embassy in Lebanon, and which led the US government to pressure the Lebanese government to end them, according to Lebanese press reports. In every one of the peaceful demonstration, there is a new theme. I covered last week's theme (the fake Bush's speech). Yesterday, it was a simulation of Arab prisoners from Iraq and Guantanamo.
