Eureka, Eureka! Read all about it. Read all about it. Hassan Fattah of the New York Times was seen running aimlessly in the streets of Beirut, yelling: "Eureka, Eureka!" You see, Hassan Fattah has made a discovery. He has been covering Lebanon for the New York Times, but he did not know. He revealed to himself and to the readers of the NYT today that the Lebanese people--brace yourselves--are......................divided. Yes, that is right. Hassan Fattah just discovered that the Lebanese people are divided. Of course, the fact the Lebanese people engaged in successive civil wars in the last two centuries can give a hint, but Fattah did not know. Be nice to him. But now he learned. I swear. Also notice: that for the "independent objective" analysis in the article, Fattah always turns to a right-wing opposition figure (like the fanatical right-wing Jubran Tuwayni in this article). At least, this time he identified him as a leader of the opposition. Usually, he hides such information from the reader. Given this incredible discovery, I suggest that Fattah should now edit his own publication on Lebanese affairs, and call it Lebanon Today (or yesterday).
