Somebody should do a study of this. Every week since US war and invasion of Iraq, a US newspaper would print an article on how Iraqi public attitudes have changed toward the occupation, and how they are now giving more tips to the puppet police. Here, the Washington Post has one of those articles, and its evaluation of Iraqi public attitutes was based on...simple anecdotal evidence, probably based on Iraqis working in the Green Zone, cleaning the rooms for US reporters.
