Somebody in the Middle East who knows Hassan Fattah of the New York Times (who wrote the silly and erroneous "guide" to Middle East media in the Sunday edition of the New York Times) reminded me that it is the same Hassan Fattah who used to write for the...New Republic--the notorious anti-Arab, anti-Muslim weekly which also "discovered" Al Gore, and we know how well that turned out. Fattah was the "house" Arab at the New Republic who wrote what the fanatical magazine's editor and publisher would like to read about Arabs. I will write my own version of a guide to Middle East media.
