The people of Saudi Arabia generously donated $82 million to the victims of the tsunami during the Saudi telethon. The telethon was approved by the US, which has prevented the Saudi government from holding any telethons for the Palestinian people. The Saudi royal family gave less than what King Fahd used to spend per day when he stayed at his palace in Spain.
