In one of those grotesque videos on the internet by Jaysh Ansar As-Sunnah, I noticed that the speaker uses an oath that characteristically was used by Bin Laden ("I swear by God who has mounted the skies without pillars"). The group killed yet another poor person (A Turkish truck driver). On another note, Saudi Arabia is playing a game: I notice that AlArabiyya TV is already sending signals of warnings about "Shi`ite monopoly of power" in Iraq. Saudi Arabia has theological and political fears of Shi`ism: they helped bolster Saddam out of their fear of Shi`ite Iran. I will not be surprised if it turns out that some Saudi members of the royal family (those same ones who had helped Bin Laden flee the kingdom) are supporting the Wahhabi fanatical groups in Iraq. Also, there is some Saudi flirtations with Israel going on. Thomas Friedman (I quoted him in my book) once suggested that Saudi Arabia should make peace with Israel, and all will be forgiven. As Israeli forces continue their festival of mayhem, carnage, killing, destruction, plunder, and oppression, the Saudi AlArabiyya TV and MBC TV were "exclusively" invited by the Israeli military to watch Israeli military maneuvers. AlArabiyya also interviewed the head of Israeli military intelligence, who engaged in the typical thuggish bravado and bluster that you expect from Israeli terrorist leaders. He also spoke about cooperation with the Moroccan, Egyptian, and Jordanian governments.
