You will not read this in the US press. From p. 3 of pro-US newspaper, Al-Hayat: So US troops went yesterday to the house of Sabir Turki in Falujah to arrest him. And when they did not find him, they simply took his wife away and placed her in custody, and then told people in the neighborhood that they will not release the wife until her husband surrenders himself. People were particularly upset because she was married only 5 days prior to her arrest. Such is the (in)justice of US occupation in Iraq. US occupation now regulalry arrests family members of wanted men, perhaps learning from Israeli occupation techniques, as if the Israeli model of brutal subjugation has been successful. But stupid governments have every right to be entitled to their own stupidity. And Human Right Watch and Amnesty International are busy taking a nap, while Kofi Annan is busy shining George W. Bush's shoes.
