Al-Afif Al-Akhdar

This Marxist, anti-Leninist Tunisian thinker had a great influence on me.  His writings helped lead me from Marxism to Anarchism in my college years.  Now, I have utter contempt for his writings and for his championing of the Tunisian dictatorship.  This radical leftist turned into an unoriginal Arab liberal.  This is an excellent account of his life and career by Saqr Abu Fakhr.  There is a useful book on Al-Akhdar by Shakir An-Nabulsi.
